Muslims donated blood for children suffering from cancer

Such campaigns have been held annually since 2010

Charity campaign "Become a donor - Gift of Hope" was held on February 15, the International Day of children, who suffering with cancer. The event was organized by Russian Muftis Council. 

Donated blood was transferred to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital and Medical Center named after Bakulev, the press service of Russian muslims reports.

Event was organized by the Department of social and charitable spiritual and educational activities of the Council of Russian Muftis with the assistance of the Youth Council at the Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation and the "Earth and People" Charity Foundation and the Center of Cardiovascular Surgery named after Bakulev.

According to representatives of the clergy, such campaigns have been held annually since 2010 by the Russian Muftis Council. Generally they are dedicated to the Day of the donor, the International Children's Day, the International Day of children suffering with cancer and other memorial dates.
