A meeting of Muslim women activists was held in Kazan. Muslim women from different towns and districts of Tatarstan attended the event. They visited “Yardem” mosque and a center for blind, which is located on the territory of the mosque.

During the event each Muslima told her own story of accepting Islam. The participants discussed problems that Muslim woman faces after converting. Among raised issues were topics such as wearing hijab and performing daily prayers.
