Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan appeals to volunteers to participate in the IX Republican Iftar, Islam.ru website reports.

The long-awaited evening of breaking the fast will take place on May 7 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre and will bring together at one table and at one collective prayer honoured guests, representatives of business and needy people: families with many children, poor families, people with disabilities.

The Iftar is organized by the regional Muftiyat as well as Ak Bars Arena and the national tourist complex Tugan Avylym.

This year, it is planned to attract up to 1000 volunteers (14-75 years old) to meet iftar guests, organize the reading of collective prayer and serve meals.
