Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan launched in Kazan one of its most important projects “School of One Day”, an intensive course on teaching prayer and the basics of Islam.  

The first lesson attended over a hundred men and women. The “School” will allow them to learn how to perform the prayer and know the basics of Islam in 6 lessons: one lesson per week. It is noteworthy that for the first time the lessons on Islam were visited by families and deaf mute people. They were provided with sign language translation, the press service of the Tatarstan Muftiate reports.

The event started with the reading of Sacred Koran. Then the newcomers of the “School” were greeted by the candidate of sociological sciences, Imam khatyb of the Gailya mosque Rustam Hazrat Khayrullin, who gave the participants valuable instructions: “First of all, I would like to recall the words of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: “Whoever treads a path in seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Paradise.” May Allah Almighty grant you strength and patience so that you can go this way to the end and not miss lessons.”

The program of the first lesson included the studying of performing ablution, both theory and practice.

The courses will last until December 7. On this day, the project participants will personally meet with the Mufti of Tatarstan, Kamil Hazrat Samigullin, and get certificates of training at the “School of One Day”.
