Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the start of the “One Day School”. The visitors of the short-term course consisting of 5 lessons will learn how to perform prayer and know the basics of Islam.  

The first lesson of the “One Day School” will be held on October 26 in the Galievski Mosque (38 Gabdulla Tukay St.).  

The project is aimed at those who want to become a practicing Muslim, but do not have enough free time to attend the full courses at mosque for 4 years.

The lessons will be held in the Galievski mosque once a week, on Saturdays from 9.00 to 13.00. The classes are free, and will be both in Tatar and in Russian. The visitors will be provided with the training plan and literature. The organizers have also planned gifts for all the participants of the “One Day School”.

The "One Day School" initiative was first launched by the Muftiate in 2018 as part of the Islamic enlightment activities. Over the three seasons of this project about 300 people attended the courses and became practicing Muslims.
