Senator from Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov visited the Spiritual and Educational Center named after the Prophet Isa (peace be upon him), where, accompanied by the head of the region Sergey Melikov and the mufti of the republic, Sheikh Ahmad Afandi, he got acquainted with the construction of a grandiose social facility, NNT channel reports.

It is noted that Suleiman Kerimov visited the Spiritual Center for the first time. Inside the administrative building, the parties discussed the issues of completing the construction of a grandiose facility, in which both ordinary citizens and large patrons take part.

The delegation had also a meeting with the pilgrims, namely the relatives of the dead soldiers who took part in the special operation in Ukraine. They thanked the organizers for their support and for the opportunity to visit the holy places. It should be noted that according to the senator’s charity program, more than a thousand believers were able to perform the Hajj this year.

 

Completion of the construction of the Spiritual Center is scheduled for 2025. The largest object here is the mosque named after the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It will accommodate over twenty thousand believers.
