The V-th All Russian scientific conference "The role of religion in secular world" was held in Kazan on November 20.

The conference gathered religious and secular experts from Kazan, Moscow, Ufa, Makhachkala, Derbent, Sevastopol, and others.

The chief editor of Islamic web-site Islam.ru also took part in the conference and spoke on the role of Mass media in spiritual and moral education of the population of the country.

 

The conference was held within the framework of Plan of activities of Group of Strategic Vision "Russia - Islamic World". The event was aimed at formulation of recommendations for the Muslim community as an integral part of the modern global community in the process of its integration as a component of a multi-component secular society and its functioning.
