A pensioner from Elabuga, Marcel Sarvarov, donated half a million rubles for the construction of the Naberezhnye Chelny Cathedral Mosque. Rimma Mukhametzyanova, head of the information policy and public relations department of the city wrote this on her Telegram channel.

According to the AiF newspaper, Elabuga pensioner Marcel Sarvarov came to the city and asked to see the mosque. After inspecting the object, the man promised to assist the mosque financially.

The night before, money came to the details of the fund of the Cathedral Mosque.

In total, the fund for the construction of the mosque has been replenished by more than 17 million rubles. The money are donated by both residents of Naberezhnye Chelny and guests of the city.
