A new mosque is to open in Crimea

Belogorsk, March 1, 2022

The Mufti of Crimea Haji Emirali Ablaev during his working trip to the Belogorsk (Karasubazar) district, visited the village of Zemlyanichnoye (Ortalan) and got acquainted with the construction of the local mosque.

The spiritual leader of Crimean Muslims examined the construction, which consists of the main building of the mosque, a large educational building and a place for ablution. Enver Kurseitov, who is the main patron of the construction, spoke about many years of work, the results of which are visible today at this facility. Kurseitov also noted that the facility is almost ready to open its doors to parishioners.

The Mufti of Crimea, in turn, thanked Enver Kurseitov and everyone who provided even the smallest assistance to the construction of this complex and wished that the Almighty was pleased with them and allowed everyone to become participants in the grand opening of the mosque.

“We express great gratitude to Enver Bey for his huge contribution to such a noble cause. We know that he invested not only money, but his soul in the construction as well. I thank everyone who is involved in the construction of this mosque and ask the Almighty that in the near future, we all take part in the opening of the mosque and read a collective prayer. I am sure that this beautiful mosque will become a place of attraction for believers, who will have chance to hold nikahs (wedding ritual) and other religious and educational events here,” the Mufti emphasized.

Enver Kurseitov suggested that the opening ceremony be held this spring and timed to coincide with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Haji Emirali Ablaev supported this initiative and instructed the Belogorsk district imam Seyar Abdulganiev to start preparing and organizing the grand opening of the mosque in the holy month of Ramadan.
