The first stone in the foundation of the future mosque was laid in the Kurtamysh district of the Kurgan region. Head of the municipality, Andrey Gvozdev, announced it on his page on the social network “VKontakte”.

“The mosque will become a spiritual center where they will teach the religion of peace and good Islam. This is a significant event for our district - the Kurtamysh land is home to more than a thousand Muslims. Today, more than ever, we all must show our unity, regardless of age, social status, nationality and religion,” said the head of Kurtamysh.

According to REGNUM, the mosque will be located on Vishnevaya Street.
