Charitable Fund “Zakat” of the Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan continues to provide humanitarian assistance to refugees from Donetsk and Luhansk who arrived in Kazan and live in four temporary accommodation centers. Today, on the 14th day of the month of Muharram (August 12), backpacks and school supplies have been delivered to 66 refugee children. 26 of them are primary school pupils, 40 are high school students.

We will remind that the Zakat Charitable Fund of Tatarstan Muftiyat has been providing humanitarian assistance to refugees from Donetsk and Luhansk since the beginning of April 2022. A total of 462 people received basic necessities, personal hygiene products and household chemicals. Charitable Fund “Zakat” plans to assist refugees from Donbass in the future as well.
