On the eve of the new school year the leadership of the Regional Muslim Religious Administration of the Penza region turned to Muslims with a request to help low-income families to prepare children for school. This initiative is traditionally held every year. Schoolbags, school uniforms, textbooks, stationery, notebooks, sets for children’s creativity, and all collected school supplies will be given to children from large and single-parent families, children left without parental care.

To date, the second batch of aid has been collected in the amount of 20 sets of school supplies, which were given to the families. Another batch of aid is underway.

“The leadership of the Regional Muslim Religious Administration of the Penza region thanks the active representatives of the Tatar community for their help in holding the initiative,” said Abubyakyar Yunkin, Mufti of the region.
