The priority for the education of Muslim youth from the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) will be shifted from Arab countries to Islamic educational institutions in Russia. Rashid Bragin, chairman of the Muslim Religious Administration of DPR, told reporters on Wednesday this week.
“Our imams, our young people who are in the cities, they will be sent to educational institutions in Kazan, Moscow, Ufa. Previously, we used to send them to Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt,” Bragin said, adding that the first three people have already draw up documents for admission to the Moscow Islamic Institute. In the future, the number of young people entering Islamic educational institutions in Russia will increase.
Bragin said that the Muslims of the republic began to receive religious literature from Russia, TASS reports.
