Saint-Petersburg, December 3, 2019

Contest on the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was held on December 1 in the office of Dagestan Cultural and Educational Center in Saint-Petersburg in conjunction with Muslim Religious Administration of St. Petersburg and the North-West Region of Russia.

Muslims of St. Petersburg and the North-West Region took an active part in the competition. The participants were divided into three groups: children under 10 years old, children from 11 to 15 years old, and adults from 16 years old and older.

The questions for the competition were taken from the second part of the book “Fundamentals of Religion and the Biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ”.

The children and elders who became the winners of the contest were awarded money and valuable gifts, and each participant received a memorable gift as well.

Muslim Religious Administration of St. Petersburg and the North-West Region of Russia thanked all the participants, and especially the children and their parents, who encouraged the young Muslims to study the religion of Islam and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him).
