The 12th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Ideals and Values of Islam in the Educational Sphere of the 21st Century” is going on in Ufa these days.
The event is timed to the 30th anniversary of the opening by the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia the first Muslim madrasa in the post-Soviet space named after Rizaetdin Fakhretdin. The conference is attended by more than 400 participants, both from Russian regions and foreign countries.
The conference began with the solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Russian Islamic University of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia. Supreme Mufti Talgat Tajuddin himself congratulated students on completing their studies. “Today 168 students are completing their studies. More than 1,500 students have become university graduates recently, who serve as imams in our communities.
The event continued with a plenary session, where guests were welcomed by the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and leaders of religious organizations, as well as listened the plenary reports of the participants of the seminar.
In his turn, vice-rector of the Kyrgyz Islamic University (Bishkek, Republic of Kyrgyzstan), member of the Ulema Council Mars Ibraev thanked the organizers of the conference for the invitation.
