The Dagestan Muftiyat is to hold daily online broadcasting of the Koran readings and sermons during the month of Ramadan on its official page on Instagram.

“In addition, we plan to have live broadcasts during which anyone can ask his question,” told the representative of the religious organization.

Meanwhile Dagestan Islamic theologians urge the fellow believers to perform all the rituals at home this month. “We are approaching the holy month of Ramadan. Therefore, we strongly insist and urge Muslims of Dagestan to perform all the religious rituals at home, including taraweeh prayers and all other prayers performed on holy nights. Do not visit cemeteries and crowded places as well”, said the message of Muslim clergy of the region.
