A meeting of the working group on the interaction of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia with centralized religious organizations of Muslims was held in Saransk on November 14.

It was attended by representatives of the authority of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and Mordovia, the muftis, representatives of Muslim Religious Administrations of Russia, including Deputy Mufti of the Republic of Dagestan Abdullah Adzhimollayev, representatives of the Administration of the Head of Mordovia and the Government of the republic, etc.

The participants considered the development of methodical recommendations, training programs for employees of the penitentiary system, coordination and adoption of a work plan for 2020.

 

In his speech, Abdullah Adzhimollaev spoke about the work carried out by the Muftiyat of Dagestan in conjunction with the Ministry of National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan and the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Dagestan in the field of moral education and prevention of the ideology of extremism and terrorism among prisoners of the penitentiary institutions of the republic.
