Library of Masjid Al-Haram Opened in Makkah

The library is open to the pilgrims and visitors from 8 in the morning until 10 P.M. every day.

The library of Masjid Al-Haram was launched in a ceremony on Saturday, June 1, in the holy city of Makkah.

The ceremony was officiated by the governor of Makkah Khalid Al-Faisal and attended by a number of local officials, Saudi daily Al-Watan reported.

The library has different sections including a digital library, audio-books, information hall, and rare manuscripts.

It is located on the second floor of the mosque in an area of around 540 square meters. It contains some 30000 books and 200 CDs

The library is open to the pilgrims and visitors from 8 in the morning until 10 P.M. every day. Only men can use the library.
