Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin received at his office in Kazan Mufti of Kemerovo Region Tagir Hazrat Bikchantaev on December 18. 

The head of Tatarstan Muslims presented the honoured guest the new issue of Khuzur Publishing House - the book of Muhammad Sa'id Ramadan al-Buti “Understanding the Life of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, with a brief outline of the history of the righteous caliphs”. The work describes biography of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), his good character, great deeds and how he overcame difficulties in fulfilling his mission, i.e. to convey to people the monotheism.

Further, during the meeting, the parties talked about ways of interaction between the two muftis, establishing contacts with religious educational institutions of Tatarstan, studying the work on translations of the meanings of the Holy Quran.

Tagir Hazrat Bikchantaev spoke about the activities of the Muftiate of Kemerovo region. He appealed to Kamil Hazrat with a request: “At the beginning of 2019 “Regulation on performing religious services and rites by the imam-hatybs of Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan” came into force in Tatarstan. In particular we need this document explaining the issues of Sharia on aqida (creed), fiqh (jurisprudence), as well as fulfilling the religious rites. There are very important aspects in the regulation. Thus we plan to develop unified standards based on a document prepared by the Muftiate of Tatarstan.”

It is worth noting that today about 25 residents of Kemerovo region are studying in Kazan religious educational institutions: Muhammadiya madrassa and Russian Islamic Institute.
