An annual Forum of Teachers of Muslim educational organizations is to be held on October 21 in Kazan, Tatarstan Republic. The event has been held since 2011 by the Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan together with the Russian Islamic Institute and the Fund for Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education. The forum is a platform for discussing and solving urgent problems in the field of Muslim education and upbringing.

This year the conference will be held within the framework of the international symposium “Theology of Traditional Religions in the Scientific and Educational Space of Modern Russia.” The Forum will touch upon the issues related to the peculiarities of teaching in religious educational institutions as well as the system of religious education and upbringing in Tatarstan.

The participants of the event will be presented a project of an online madrasa from the Muslim Religious Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the practical work in religious education and morality of the younger generation on the example of the Ihsan (Blagonravie) secondary school in the city of Elabuga.

The representatives of the Zahir mosque in the village of Shali, the Kazan mosque Gadel, and the Muslim community of the Leninogorsk region will share their experience of the mosque courses as well.

The symposium “Theology of Traditional Religions in the Scientific and Educational Space of Modern Russia”, which opens in Kazan on October 22, is to consider the issues related to the development of Muslim education.
