The incident happened in Beziers town in the south of France, when a French driver tried to ran over a Muslim woman and her child. The woman and her child weren’t seriously injured, Umma-inform news agency reports.

"When I was coming out of my house for a walk, a man suddenly appeared. He was driving at a high speed, and turned onto the pedestrian sidewalk and moved the pram. God saved my child, because I just picked her up. However, the man did not calm down. Coming out of the car, he started shouting offensive words and repeatedly punched me in the face. If it were not for my neighbors who ran to help me, I'm afraid to imagine what could happen next,"- said the incident frightened French Muslim.

"On that day I looked out of my house window as I heard heart-rending cries of woman and the roar of a car. Running out into the street, I saw an unidentified man beating up my neighbor Muslim woman with her ​​baby in her arms, shouting something like, "You're nothing more than a dirty Arab, I'll kill you, I'll send you to hell to your Prophet!" I immediately rushed to the rescue. I have the impression that the offender was in poor state and was not aware of the nature of his own actions,"-one of the neighbors of the victim of aggressive man said.

The young Muslim woman immediately called the police. There are more than 10 witnesses of the incident. According to local law enforcement, the identification of the attacker took no much time. It is reported that it is not the first incident of the man and there are complaints from other Muslim women who were also the victims of his Islamophobia.
