Dagestan Mufti’s assistant wins the Jiu-Jitsu World Championship

The 12th World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Abu Dhabi came to successful conclusion on Friday night, Islam.ru website reports. The Jiu-Jitsu arena in the UAE capital gathered professional sportsmen with brown and black belts from all over the world.

Representatives of Russian Dagestan won eight medals of different values: 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze. Among the Russians who won the championship is the assistant to the Mufti of the Republic of Dagestan, a member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan, Idris Asadulaev.

“I took part in the World Professional Jiu-jitsu Championship that was held in Abu Dhabi on April 6-7, and won the silver medal. Of course, this is all thanks to the Creator, and I give Him boundless praise. Thanks to everyone who was rooting for me, I felt your support,” Idris Asadulaev shared on his Instagram page.
