The Crimean Muftiate outlined plans for 2020

A working meeting of Mufti of Crimea Haji Emirali Ablaev and the district imams took place in the office of Crimean Muftiate on Thursday this week. Religious figures reported on their work over the past year and spoke on the plans and tasks for the new yaer.

During the meeting, the participants paid attention to the opening of branches of the “Halk Madrassas” (madrassas for people) in the regions, in particular, in the Sudak and Yevpatoria districts. In addition, the Mufti of Crimea recommended that imams intensify their work with the population together with the local authorities in solving social, legal, cultural, and educational issues.

Within the framework of the meeting deputy Mufti of Crimea Raim Gafarov gave a lecture on the importance of faith in everyday life.

The imams were called upon to assist in the subscription campaign of religious newspapers and magazines published by Muslim Religious Administration of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The Mufti also called on religious leaders to support each other in the sphere of spiritual and moral education of the society.
