The cathedral mosque for five thousand believers to be opened in Cherkessk in September, the Karachay-Cherkessia agency reports.

The construction of the mosque began in 2007. Now the builders have finished laying communications in the building, which has 33 domes. The decoration of the main one was entrusted to masters from Turkey. The building is being prepared for delivery, workers are landscaping the area near the mosque.

It is reported that two fountains and a playground will be opened next to the religious site. The builders also foresaw the interests of motorists and constructed a spacious parking lot in front of the building.
