The All-Russian Forum of Muslim Youth was held in Tatarstan city of Bolgar on July 23-31, Islam.ru website reports. The event was organized within the framework of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam in the Volga Bolgaria. Muslims both male and female from 18 to 30 years participated in the forum, Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan reports.

The week-long visiting congress of Muslims was held in a tent camp and became a platform for the creation and implementation of social projects for the benefit of the Russian ummah. The purpose of the forum was to teach how to “package” social start-ups aimed at various spheres of life of the Muslim community in Russia: be it religious education of the population, the development of charitable projects or the expansion of the halal sphere, and so on.

The forum provided the participants the opportunities for gaining knowledge, exchanging experience and ideas, as well as making acquaintances. For the first time within the framework of the event, the organizers held a special panel discussion for the unification and self-realization of initiative and caring Muslim youth in the non-profit sector, which was aimed at creating a community of socially initiative and active Muslim youth.
