Florida Univ. Opens First Islamic Center

Exhibition on 99 names of Allah opened in Kazan

The exhibition of "99 names of the Almighty God" opened at the Kazan Kremlin. There are works of classical Islamic art of IX-XIX centuries.

The event organized with the assistance of the Support Fund for cultural programs named after Sh.Mardzhani, were presented 99 world masterpieces in accordance to the number of the names of God.

A Saudi charity organization aims to revive the Siqaya service, an old tradition that has become obsolete by time where pilgrims, guests and visitors of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah were offered water during the holy month of Ramadan as a gesture of good will by the natives.

"Muslim World" exhibition held in Chelyabinsk

An exhibition “Muslim World”, lasted  for  4 days which was held at the Sports Complex “Youth”, completed in Chelaybinsk.

Various artefacts and types of products including national Bashkir honey, national dishes, halal meat, sweets, souvenirs and books were displayed to visitors. As a part of the exhibition a contest was held for the best cook and fashion show of Islamic clothing.

 

The temple of three religions to be built in Berlin

The campaign to raise funds for the construction of a religious center House of One was launched in Berlin on the 3rd of June. Muslims, Jews and Christians will be able to pray under one roof. Construction of the building which doesn't look similar to mosque or synagogue or cathedral will cost €43.5 million, according to ee24.com citing thelocal.de.
