The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-detainees on Saturday said that the Israeli forces arrested 10,000 Palestinian since the outbreak of second Intifada in September 2000.
The ministry said in a report on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the second Intifada, also known as the Al-Aqsa Intifada, that Israel is holding 250 children in prisons and detention camps in Israel and in the West Bank.

Palestinian authorities have warned about the deteriorating health conditions of hunger striking prisoners in Israeli jails.
The Palestinian Ministry for Prisoner Affairs warned about the worsening health conditions of the Palestinian detainees who have gone on hunger strike in Israeli prisons.
The ministry said that the hunger strikers are at risk of death.

About 47 percent of the estimated 47,000 inmates in Saudi Arabia’ s prisons are in jail for drug-related crimes, said Director General of Prisons Maj. Gen. Dr. Ali bin Hussain Al-Harthi.
Al-Harthi was responding to reports that over 70 percent of all prisoners have been incarcerated for trafficking and dealing in illicit drugs.
