Close to 89,220 tons of different kinds of dates worth more than $102 million were exported from Iran to 69 countries during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21-July 22).
Iraq will have to stop using the US dollar in its financial transactions with Iran over Washington's sanctions against Tehran, Iraqi government spokesman Saad al-Hadithi told Sputnik on Thursday.
"The sanctions will influence, first of all, money transfers and banking operations in the US dollar. The sides will not use the US dollar," al-Hadithi said, adding that the move would result in a decline in trade between the two countries and thus affect the consumers.
The dossier of the trans-Iranian railroad, prepared in late 2017, has been submitted to UNESCO for inscription in the list of World Heritage Sites. The file will be reviewed and revised by the end of the current summer to fix the shortcomings that UNESCO experts will possibly point out, Vahid Aliqardashi, head of infrastructure engineering management at the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways Company said.

Russia and Iran have agreed to use their own national currencies in bilateral trade transactions rather than the U.S. dollar.
Iran’s IRNA news agency reported that the plans were announced in a meeting on Tuesday in Tehran by Iranian business magnate and head of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce, Asadollah Asgaroladi.

Russia and Iran plan to use their national currencies in bilateral trade, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said on Tuesday.
“Trade will be organized on the basis of our currencies,” he said after the 11th meeting of the Russian-Iranian intergovernmental commission.
