Fasting for kids

The month of Ramadhaan, which Muslims fast every year, is the best of all months in the sight of Allaah, the Almighty. In this month, the Heavenly Books were revealed to Ibraaheem, Moosaa and 'Eesaa, may Allaah exalt their mention. The Quran was also revealed to our Prophet Mohammad, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, in laylet al-Qadr (the Night of Decree), which is one of the nights of that great month.

Question:

As salamu alaykum,

What is the situation regarding a breastfeeding mother who has a difficult time keeping her clothing clean from the baby’s urine, poo, vomit, etc? What about things that the baby touches with its mouth after it vomits? We have a baby and its mother is always getting something on her. The baby spits up a lot. When it is time to pray it takes her so long that the baby gets left and starts to cry. What is the situation here? Thanks.

Raising your Child to be a Muslim

Source : AlaHazrat / 01 May 2014

It is true that the first learning center for a child is the mother’s lap. The mannerisms of the parents are reflected in the children.

The story of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (May Allah have mercy on him) is famous: When he was traveling with a caravan, a gang of dacoits raided the caravan. When they came to check Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (May Allah have mercy on him), an eighteen year old young man, the dacoits inquired if he had any valuables. He told them about the gold coins which had been stitched into his clothes by his mother. The dacoits asked him why he let them know of the hidden money, to which he replied that his mother had advised him to “never lie”. Upon this the dacoits become ashamed and repented to Allah.

The Pillars of Iman are six:

To believe in Allah, the Angels, the Books, the Messengers, the Last Day, the Divine Destiny and that the good and bad of it are all from Allah, the Most High.

The Islamic Way to Raise the Children

Source : Islamic Life / 20 Feb 2014

Allah creates the children with pure innate nature, without defects and whatever defects that happens later on is the result of the bad education. prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.) said, ''Every new born has the correct instinct, his parents make him Jewish, Christian or a fire worshipper.''

The Story of Tree: Video

Greeting a person is charity. Acting justly is charity. Helping a man with his steed is charity. A good word is charity. Every step taken on the way to performing prayers is charity. Removing an obstacle from the road is charity.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man never did a good deed but removed a thorny branch from the road; it was either in the tree and someone cut it and threw it on the road, or it was lying in it, he removed it. Allah accepted this good deed of his and brought him into Paradise. (Abu Dawud)
