Supplication of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Supplication is the power of a Believer

Source : Agencies / 8 Feb 2013

رَضِيتُ باللهِ رَبَّاً، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيناً،

 وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَى اللهُ عَلِيهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيَّاً

“I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet.” (Recite three times in Arabic)

The Hadiths of this Supplication

There is no Muslim servant who says in the morning and the evening three times: “I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet, except that it will be a right upon Allah to please him on the Day od Judgment." (Ahmad)

Whoever says:"I am pleased with Allah as my Rabb, and with Islam as my Deen, and with Muhammad (SAW) as my Prophet, Jannah would be mandatory for him." (Abu Dawud/Sahih Muslim)

"He has found the taste of Iman, he who says I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet." (Muslim)

"Whoever says, when he hears the adhan: And I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, him Alone without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger: I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as my Prophet. His sins will be forgiven."(Muslim)

Points of Benefit

Whoever recites this statement three times every morning and every evening will be pleased on the Day of Resurrection.

Whoever recites this statement, Jannah will be mandatory for him.

Mere words are not enough. The reciter of these words has to appreciate their meaning, adopt them as a way of life, and feels satisfied with their applications and ramifications. These words are the logo of his main identity.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has amazingly promised the reciter of these words to be his guarantor on the Day of Judgment and that he will not leave him until he helps him to enter Jannah.

Whoever recited these words and believes in them, will taste the sweetness of Iman.

Whoever recites these words after the Adhan will have his sins forgiven (minor).

Narrated Mu’adh bin Jabal :

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying: If anyone's last words are "There is no god but Allah" he will enter Paradise.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,"All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse." They said,"O Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Who will refuse?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)  said, "Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it).
