A unique mosque in Chechnya will be called the "Pride of Muslims"

The Russian city of Shali (Chechen Republic) is going to open the largest mosque in Europe. The religious building will be called the "Pride of Muslims," ​​according to Grozny-inform.

The opening ceremony is fixed on August 23. They say that the mosque will accommodate twenty thousand worshipers. The opening is timed to the 68th anniversary of the birth of the first President of the Chechen Republic, hero of Russia Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov.

The event is expected to be attended by 200 guests from 43 foreign countries among which muftis, advisers, ministers, and more than 30 Russian participants - muftis of the North Caucasus Federal District, university rectors and 10 foreign media representatives.
