Tatarstani pilgrims made a sightseeing tour of holy places in Medina

Pilgrims from Tatarstan visited Медина with a two day excursion. They performed prayers at the Al-Masjid al-Nabawi Mosque and got acquainted with the holy places and significant religious objects of the city.

In the Museum of Qur'an, the Tatarstanians got acquainted with the history of the Holy Book. Especially they were amazed by Qur'an, weighing 145 kg, brought from Afghanistan. In Medina it was delivered 200 years ago on four camels. It was with Medina that the spread of the Qur'an began all over the Earth. The Sakhabs of the Prophet ssalallahu alayhi wa sallam dedicated their lives to the preaching of Islam. Nearly ten thousand Sakhabs are buried near the Mosque of the Prophet Muhammad, salallahu alayhi wa sallam. The Tatarstan people made dua for them,  DUM RT reports.
