Before the start of the competition, the hockey players were greeted by the adviser to the Mufti of Tatarstan for work with the local Muslim communities, Ravil khazrat Zuferov, and the head of the department for youth and sports in the Arsk region Ilyas Abdulgazizov.

Ravil Hazrat conveyed greetings on behalf of the Mufti and reminded the gathered of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: “A strong believer is better before Allah and is more loved by Him than a weak believer, although each of them has a blessing”. He thanked the leadership of the Muslim community and noted that such competitions unite fellow believers and promote a healthy lifestyle. It is noteworthy that not only hockey fans, but ordinary spectators as well came to the stadium to see the competition.

As the result, the first place in the hockey tournament and the challenge cup were taken by the Novokuznetsk team. Teams “Hasanshaekh” and “Subash Aty” shared the II and III places. The winning teams were awarded with certificates and medals.
