Tatarstan develops a unique interfaith application

Members of the initiative group from Kazan presented their new IT project at a meeting with the head of Muslims of Tatarstan in the residence of the Muslim Religious Administration of the region. The project developers are entrepreneurs Lenar Yusupov, Timur Gonezhuk and Pavel Ksenafontov. Lenar and Timur told the mufti Kamil Hazrat Samigullin about thier unique application.

The project is an interfaith mobile application called “Amen” containing the most necessary information for users of smartphones and iPhones about Islam and Orthodoxy in Tatarstan. The users of the app will have a list of mosques with contacts and a map of their location, a convenient reference on where to perform religious rites, times of prayers, prayers for different occasions. The application will also allow making donations. Similar functions will be provided in the Orthodox content of the software.

During the meeting mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin gave a high esteem for the application and wished the developers help of the Almighty. He noted that the “Amen” project would be of great demand among Muslims and expressed his willingness to provide advisory support from the Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan.

The developers plan to release the application by the end of this year. Users will be able to download “Amen” in the App Store and Play Store.

Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan actively implements its own projects in the field of IT too. They have 6 mobile applications in Russian and Tatar languages ​​that are in great demand: “Quran“ Kazan Basma”, “Times of Prayer”, “Namaz Wakytlary”, “Radio “Azan”, “Halal-Guide of Russia”, “Worship in Islam”.
