Several hundred fasting believers came together to share the evening meal-Iftar organised by Tajikistan as part of the Ramadan Tent project in Moscow.

Hundreds of Muslims, not only Tajiks, but also Uzbeks, Russians, Tatars, and other ethnic nationalities took part in the Day of Tajikistan at the Memorial Mosque.

The organizers - the Spiritual Board of Muslims, the Moscow government and the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Russia, prepared a rich cultural and religious program for the guests of the evening.

And after a collective prayer and a festive meal - shurpa and plov - there was a quiz on the knowledge of the history of Tajikistan and Islamic culture.

The "Ramadan's Tent" is held for the thirteenth year since its inception in 2005 at the Memorial Mosque, and thousands of Muslims from Moscow and beyond participated in the themed evenings throughout the month of Ramadan.
