Grozny, July 16, 2019

Six-year-old Rakhim Kuriyev from Chechnya broke two world records having pushed up for 4618 times. The record of the young Muslim was documented by the Chief Editor of the Book of Records of Russia Stanislav Konenko in the studio of ChGTRK "Grozny" TV-channel.

Last autumn Rakhim Kuriyev, who was born in the village of Duba-Yurt in Chechnya, pushed up without a break for 4,105 times in 2 hours and 25 minutes and broke the world record. However, the achievement was not accepted by the Russian Book of Records due to "minor remarks". Then the boy repeated the record in the presence of the commission and pushed up without a break for 3202 times in 2 hours 30 minutes.

Today Rakhim Kuriev has broken two world records. One in “the highest number of push-ups in two hours in the world among boys of 6 years old with a score of 4183 repetitions” and the other one in “the highest number of push-ups without a break in the world among boys of 6 years old with a score of 4618 repetitions”. It was officially recorded by the Chief Editor of the Book of Records of Russia Stanislav Konenko.
