The trilateral summit of Russia, Turkey and Iran on the Syrian settlement will be held in Istanbul on April 4. This was announced on Monday at a press conference by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, Haberturk TV channel broadcasted.
 
"The meeting of the Cooperation Council at the highest level will be held on April 3. It will also be attended by President Putin, and then on April the Turkey-Russia-Iran summit on Syria will be held in Istanbul," he said.
 
On November 22, 2017, the Presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting in Sochi, where they announced significant successes in the joint struggle against terrorism in Syria and the beginning of a qualitatively new stage in the settlement of the crisis in that country. The next step in this process was the Congress of the Syrian National Dialogue in Sochi on January 30, which gathered more than 1,500 delegates representing all segments of the Syrian society. It's participants decided to establish a Constitutional Council, as well as the formation of a Constitutional Commission, Tass reports.
