June 28, a solemn ceremony of a mosque opening will be held in Kyshtym (Chelyabinsk region). The event will be attended by  Mufti of the Central Spiritual Board of Russian Muslims Talgat Tajuddin, representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow, as well as leaders of the region, the governor Mikhail Yurevich, Chairman of administration Vladimir Myakush and members of the clergy.

The height of the minaret of the new building is 33 meters, diameter of the main dome is 10 meters. The temple was built by donations from local believers. It is the second domed mosque of (the first mosque was built in Magnitogorsk) Chelyabinsk region, "Yuzhnouralskaya Panorama" reports.

Muslims constitute 6.8 percent of Kyshtym population. It is assumed that the believers of Ozersk village and other nearby areas will gather for collective prayers at this new mosque.

The Kyshtym mosque will be the 80th in a row in the Chelyabinsk region, (after the new mosque of Redutovo of Chesmensky district) where there are more than 100 parishes.
