Muslim student wins international science competition

Islam Akhtsiev, a student of the North Caucasus Institute - the Branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and State Service, became the winner of the contest "Modern Science: Research and Development". He developed the project of a scientific and educational school to engage students in research, the press service of the institute reported on Thursday.

The competition of young scientists was organized by the West Siberian Scientific Center. It was aimed at identifying and developing young people's creative potential. The event was attended by developers from Russia and foreign countries.

Islam Akhtsiev is a second-year student and head of the student scientific society of the North Caucasian branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and State Service. He developed the project to increase the level of youth involvement in scientific activity. His project will help to include a research approach to solving the tasks in the learning process.

"Scientific and technological progress, the rapid implementation of science in all spheres of life and production require from a young specialist not only a broad theoretical outlook, but also a creative research approach to solving various kinds of problems. That is why these competencies must be taught during the training period," - said Akhtsiev.
