Muslim organizations to be taught media literacy in Kazan

Tatarstani Muslim media outlets will be taught media strategies and media literacy in a series of courses from 24 April to 31 May 2018 in Kazan.
 
The training courses entitled "Media Strategies and Media Literacy of Muslim Religious Organizations, Islamic discourse in modern media" are ogranised by Kazan Federal University and Union of Journalists of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with Russian Islamic Institute. 
 
These advanced training courses will be extremely useful not only for public relations specialists, but also for practicing journalists who want to keep pace with the latest trends.
 
The program of the courses includes master classes on creating Internet media, promoting content in social networks, preparing events for the media (briefings, press conferences). In addtition there will be master classes on skills of public speaking, self-development and technologies of personal and career growth, overcoming creative and personal crisis.
 
Master classes will be conducted by lecturers of KFU and practicing journalists. Upon sucessfully passing the exams students of the courses will receive certificates of professional development.
