Mufti Albir Krganov supported Putin's message on interethnic relations

Moscow, March 31, 2021

Mufti of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of Russia, Albir Krganov supported the statement of Vladimir Putin about interethnic relations in the Russian Federation. According to Krganov, he listened very carefully to the speech of Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations.

Krganov recalled that throughout the history of the existence of the Russian Federation, enemies tried to undermine interethnic and interreligious relations in the country.

“We take this as our wealth, but on the contrary, from the outside, they are surprised and try to poison us in every possible way. And we face these attempts today, since I know them from my activities in the Public Chamber in the Commission on the Harmonization of Interethnic and Interreligious Relations, and this is a very close topic to me,” said Krganov.

The Mufti noted that the history of the collapse of the Soviet Union also began with lifting up “national themes”, and that was against Moscow’s policies. “We get what we get ... And recently we have witnessed how one people - the Slavs, Orthodox Christians, from our country, Russia and from Ukraine ... What the propaganda work of information channels brought them to ... This cannot be normal,” the mufti emphasized.

Krganov stressed that the main work on the settlement of interethnic relations is carried out on behalf of Vladimir Putin. “This is how we live in Russia, we pay more attention to the opinion of the leader of the country, the president of the country, and he is the guarantor that such actions are not repeated in our country, so that the conflicts that exist in a number of states are not transferred to the territory of Russia,” said Albir hazrat, who noted that nationalism would be disastrous for Russia.
