More than 150 representatives of different confessions and national-cultural autonomies cleaned up the “Internationalists” park in Nizhny Novgorod. The event is being conducted in the framework of inter-religious and inter-ethnic cooperation of environmental cleaning. Participants of the event cleared the area from debris and dry leaves, and planted flowers and trees, the press service of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod reports.

"And as we were working side-by-side we will open our hearts with increasing spiritual joy. We were able to learn the traditions and customs of other nationalities and faiths. There are many nations living in Nizhny Novgorod and verily it is the advantage of this town," - said a member of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Nizhniy Novgorod region Renat Islyamov.

Over 150 citizens of Nizhny Novgorod, including representatives of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Nizhniy Novgorod region, Central Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists of Nizhny Novgorod, the Roman Catholic Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Nizhny Novgorod Branch of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, Regional Public Organization of Nizhny Novgorod of Armenian community", Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization of Belarusian culture, society of Ukrainian culture "Dzhorelo", "Peoples of Dagestan" national-cultural center, "Chuvash cultural center" Nizhny Novgorod regional public organization, the Korean national cultural center of Nizhny Novgorod, "Polones" community of Polish culture participated in the campaign.
