Ingushetia Muslims are gearing up for Hajj

The Head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and the Chairman of the republican Hajj Committee Ahmed Terkakiev discussed preparation and organization of the forthcoming pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
According to the Head of the committee, at the moment almost 1000 people have submitted the relevant documents for participating in the pilgrimage, there are no problems with obtaining international passports of pilgrims. In total 4 charter flights from Magas to Medina will take off from August 8.
The Head of the region noted the need to conduct lectures and master classes on the proper performance of Hajj rites for pilgrims. "We need to raise awareness of our pilgrims, so that there will be no problems with navigation in the Holy places," he said. 
In addition, Yevkurov drew attention to the preventive adoption of medical measures to protect pilgrims from infectious diseases. "The comfortable conditions for our pilgrims to stay in the Hajj depend on the level of preparation, including their mood and state of health," he said. The Head of the republic expressed hope that the pilgrimage this year will be successful and visiting religious shrines will be well organized.
The cost of the tour to Hajj from Ingushetia is 3100 US dollars. The price includes: departure from the airport Magas to Medina (KSA), and back from Jeddah (KSA) - Magas airport. Accommodation in Mecca will be in a hotel some 3000m distance from the Al-Haram mosque.
