Today, from Grozny airport first group of pilgrims flew to Saudi Arabia. In total 14 direct flights to Jeddah will be commmitted this year - REGNUM information agency reports.

Previously, it was reported that in 2014 some 2600 Chechen pilgrims will travel to Saudi Arabia, which is 300 fewer than last year. The reduction in the number of quotas for all regions of Russia, is due to the construction works, which are held in the holy places.

Before their departure all the pilgrims were instructed on behalf of the head of the republic, on the ethics of the Hajj. Ramzan Kadyrov also congratulated all Muslims with the beginning of the Hajj.

This year, the organizers managed to reduce the cost of travel for each pilgrim for $ 1,000 and improve the service at the same time.
