Extra pavillion for prayers to be built in Ingushetia

Head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, commissioned the construction of a special pavilion near the cathedral mosque under construction in Magas, where additional space for Friday and tarawih prayers will be provided.

He stated this within the framework of the working meeting with the Head of his Administration, Magamet Yandiev, his deputies and assistant advisers. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the regional government and municipalities.

The Head of the republic expressed his dissatisfaction with the work of the city administration for monitoring the demographic statistics of the capital and maintaining the necessary level of social security for citizens. The fact that the city mosque is no longer able to accommodate all parishioners of the mandatory Friday prayer, and believers are forced to be placed directly on the street should be addressed urgently. On average, a weekly collective prayer now gathers up to 400 people working in Magas and residents of the city.

In this regard, as well as on the occasion of the arrival of the month of Ramadan, which assumes the conduct of nightly prayers, Yevkurov ordered to erect a structure with all facilities on the territory adjacent to the construction site of the Cathedral Mosque and create the necessary conditions for prayer there. "Get to work around the clock. By next Friday there should be a fully functioning pavillion here," he said.
