Deputy Dagestani Mufti met with Turkish Religious Minister

Deputy Mufti of Dagestan, Abdullah Salimov, at the invitation of the Minister of Religious Affairs of Turkey, Ali Erbash, visited Ankara as part of the delegation of the North Caucasus Federal District and Russia's Southern Federal District.
 
The honorary guests were met by the first deputy head of the Office for Religious Affairs of Turkey, Selim Argun. In honor of the arrival of representatives of the clergy from Russia, Mehmet Savash Polat, the general director of the Bacchus charity foundation, hosted a gala dinner, where those present could discuss religious matters in a relaxed atmosphere.
 
Then there was a meeting with the Minister of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbash. During the conversation, the minister asked the representatives of the clergy about their educational activities in the regions, noting the significance and importance of spiritual and moral work.
 
Ali Erbash thanked the guests for accepting the invitation and visiting the Republic of Turkey. The Minister noted that such meetings are exclusively fraternal in nature, within which there is a unique opportunity to share experiences in the field of moral education.
 
The Deputy Mufti of Dagestan, Abdullah Salimov, briefed the Minister about the activities of the Muftiyat, about the work carried out by the Alims of Dagestan in close cooperation with representatives of government bodies, noting that such interaction is the key to stability and peace in any state. In turn, the Minister of Religious Affairs of Turkey, Ali Erbash, wished prosperity to Dagestan, and conveyed a sincere greetings to Sheikh Ahmad Afandi.
