A requiem action ‘Çatır Dağ 2014’ devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Deportation against the Crimean Tatar people. It brought together more than 3,000 people, who in spite of a 16-kilometer distance climbed onto one of the highest peaks of Crimea in order to pay tribute to the victims of the Deportation.

After conquering the top the action participants held a prayer service for the victims of the Deportation and people who died during the years of forced residence in a foreign land.

The first such campaign was organized 10 years ago and attended by 25 students of the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University, where he teaches physical education. Every year the number of participants increases, however, in the opinion of participants, the main thing is not the number of participants but the idea of climbing.
