Bilateral summit of muftis of Russia and Kyrgyzstan held in Ufa

A bilateral summit of muftis of Russia and Kyrgyzstan was held in Ufa on November 11, 2020. The discussion of the religious leaders of the states was organized through the video conference. The summit was aimed at improving of interaction between the Muslim communities of Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

“This is an essential part of peace, harmony and security. We both try hard to prevent extremism or terrorism”, the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Bashkortostan quotes the Grand Mufti of Russia, Talgat Tadzhuddin.

During the meeting the parties considered issues of cooperation between the two countries for the next year, as well as discussed the common victory in the Great Patriotic War.
