All-Russian newspaper "As-Salam" to be published in English

For the first time in history the All-Russian Muslim spiritual and educational newspaper As-Salam will be published in English. The first issue has already been published. The newspaper will be distributed among the English-speaking audience.

The newspaper covers the issues of faith, the life of Muslim society in Russia and other countries, interviews with figures of various socio-political, religious and many other important spheres.

According to a statement of the founder of the newspaper - the Muftiate of Dagestan Republic, the only purpose of spreading the newspaper is “to educate the Russians, especially the Muslim part, on issues of traditional Islam”.

The total circulation of the newspaper is more than 100 thousand copies.

The newspaper can be found in mosques throughout Russia, as well as in Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Germany and Poland.

Until today, the newspaper has been published in nine languages: in Russian, Tatar, Avar, Azerbaijani, Dargin, Kumyk, Lak, Lezgi and Tabasaran. With the new English version the As-Salam newspaper is going to win the attention of more readers.
