The solemn opening ceremony of the first minaret was held in Central Mosque of Saki town. The event was attended by Mufti of the Crimea Muslims hajji Emirali Ablaev, who thanked the businessmen who sponsored the construction.

32-meter high structure was built according to old technologies which were used during Ottoman Empire and the Crimean Khanate period. The historical analogies of that time we can see in the mosque of Khan Saray (Khan's Palace / Bakhchisarai), and in Juma Jami mosque (Kezlev). The construction of the minaret was worth about $ 20,000.

The Central Mosque of Saki town was built in 1999 and has not had a minaret. It will be two minarets in the mosque according to the project. Now members of the city's Muslim religious community, "Jani’ Jami" are in search of sponsors for the construction of a second minaret.
